Martcellia Liunic’s works are known for their bold colors and characters. She describes her art as the “right combination of cute and trippy.” Liunic runs her own art label called Liunic on Things and uses her creative practice to portray her emotions and tell stories.
She is based in Jakarta, and her works often feature “colorful, playful, sometimes abstract raw shapes and animals with girl characters.” Illustration has always been personal and therapeutic for Liunic, and she has worked with global brands such as H&M, Samsung, Google, YouTube, Netflix, and Facebook. Her illustration has also been featured in various publications such as the “Society of Illustrator 65 Jury Selections,” It’s Nice That, and Frankie Magazine, among others.
